Ixmucané Aguilar (*1983) is a Berlin-based visual artist/designer, graduated from Weißensee Academy of Art Berlin. In her photography practice, she involves research and conversations, guided by an interest in looking for truth and a human perspective. Aguilar often engages with particular groups and communities of people sharing a reality. In this way, her work combines and turns text and images into artistic photo documentaries.
